High School Senior Prizes
In finding resources to support their studies in the future, high school seniors can do a very good job but the scholarships that they can possibly get are not limited to their future. To financially aid them today they can also make use of the prizes they can win. There are especially many essay competitions available to high school seniors that bring not only the honor of winning a prize, but also cash money. The Annual Signet Classics Student Scholarship Essay Contest is an example of an essay competition wherein high school seniors can participate in. By writing an essay related to Alzheimer, you will get a chance not only to win an award of $5,000, but also to raise awareness on this topic, and make people understand the difficulties people with Alzheimer and the immediate environment of these people are faced with financial aid. Similarly, the Holocaust Remembrance Project aims at keeping the memories of the Holocaust alive and passing them on to the future generations. Awards in this project begin at $2,500. You may also get an award by not writing an essay, but working as an intern even before you start your undergraduate studies. For example, the Bank of America offers high school junior and senior students an 8-week internship program wherein they get paid at varying degrees. Another, and more interesting scholarship scheme is for those high school seniors who are capable of developing a new software. You Can Make a Difference Scholarship awards projects that can benefit the community at a rate of $5,000 per proposal.
